DIY Elsa Frozen 2 Cosplay

DIY Elsa Frozen 2 Cosplay
To celebrate the release of Disney’s Frozen 2, I wanted to do something a bit different on my blog. As many of you know, I work as a costume designer and have been commissioned to make quite a few cosplays. Most recently, Otaku Ongoku commissioned me to create a Samurai Champloo cosplay for the character Fuu.
I also work as a stylist and have been honored to style many influencer clients. In honor of Frozen 2, I wanted to dive into some stylized looks that the disneybounder in your life could easily recreate. Disneybounding is when Disney fans dress up as contemporary versions of their favorite characters. It is how many fans are able to get around the cosplay rules at Disneyland in order to page homage to their favorite characters.

This is one of my favorite Elsa looks from the film. I would recommend pairing a strapless dress with a mesh top underneath in order to get the mesh sleeve look Elsa of this garment. I paired this Asos Ombre Blue Dress with this Mesh Top from Amazon. To complete the look you can pair it with these clear wedges from Amazon. All together, this outfit will cost you $165.00 plus tax.

This next look is inspired by Elsa’s violet gown. I took into account the fact that Disney is consistently how year-round. Thus, I decided to style this look with this mini-Chi Chi London dress from Asos paired with these clear heels from Amazon. I selected this ombre strapless number because I felt that it best matched the essence of Elsa. This look will cost around $165.

This look evokes all of the confidence from Elsa’s final look in Frozen 2. I paired this mini dress from Modcloth (which has an almost perfect match in terms of the pattern) with this bridal sash from Amazon for some extra sparkle. I then found these iridescent pants from Forever 21 which appear to be a perfect dupe for the pants paired with Elsa’s look under her gown. I then selected these whimsical clear shoes to finish off the look. All together, this look will cost you $195.00.

And finally, no “Let It Go” moment isn’t complete with a throwback Disneybound from the first Frozen movie. I found this lovely sequin mini-dress from Amazon as well as this dramatic cape. I topped off this look with these stunning heels fit for the Ice Queen herself also from Amazon. This look is the least expensive of the bunch and only costs $124.00.
I hope you enjoyed these Disneybound styled looks. Please tag @LadyCatFashion in your post if you decide to try any of these looks out for your next trip to Disney. Be sure to like and follow my blog if you liked this post and want to see more stylized posts from me in the future.
